Dried fruits retain all the vitamins and minerals of fresh fruits, so doctors and nutritionists recommend including dried fruits in your diet, especially in the autumn-winter period, when the body needs support.

Dried apples are used in cooking: cooking compote or making snacks.

Classic apple compote recipe

Ingredients:

  • Water – 2-3 liters.
  • Apple drying – 300-400 grams.
  • Sugar – 150 grams.

Choose the amount of water and sugar, depending on the portions and personal taste preferences, if you want a sweeter, then you need to add more sugar. If desired, you can add other dried fruits or cook only from apples.

Stages of preparation:

  1. Rinse dry fruits and soak in water for 1-2 hours.
  2. Pour water into the pan. Always select containers larger than the estimated volume of water. During cooking, the apples rise up, which leads to the crowding out of the liquid.
  3. Put apples and sugar in boiling water to taste. Cook for 30-40 minutes.
  4. Cool and let it brew for 1 hour.

Eating compote is tastier when chilled.

How to cook compote in a multicooker

The set of ingredients remains unchanged: apples, water, and sugar. Rinse the dried fruits with water, soak for 1-2 hours, and then drain the water through a colander and wait a few minutes until the liquid runs off completely.

  1. Put the prepared fruits in a multicooker, add sugar and pour water.
  2. Select the program “Compote” or “Drinks”, if there is no such program – “Soup” or “Stew”. Cooking time 1-1.5 hours, depending on the model. During cooking, the valve must be turned to position 1.
  3. After readiness to insist 30-40 minutes.
